Are You New To Voice Over And Creating A Home Studio ?
Don’t Overthink, Don’t Overspend, Don’t Go It Alone
AS A PROFESSIONAL VOICE TALENT, YOU NEED A HOME VOICE OVER STUDIO!
Yes, everyone now needs a home VO studio. The pandemic made it essential and it will now remain so. If you’re getting into voice over, you have to have one and know how to use it to compete in this highly competitive business. However, It’s not as difficult or as intimidating as you think!
I’m Dan Lenard, The Home Voice Over Studio Master, THE most experienced expert in the creation of home voice over studios
My experience has shown me that; Every voice is different, every room is different and there is no one-size-fits-all solution to any home VO studio. My consults are based on where you are in the process. My beginners course is $250.00 which includes thorough analysis of your situation, and coming up with a plan to get you recording competently in a very short time. If you already have your equipment or want to optimize your sound and studio space, my consults are $175. I’ll evaluate the space and equipment you are using, and make recommendations on how to best use your stuff in your space.
I will teach you how to properly record and how to set up for remote sessions so it will be a matter of a mouse click instead of mind-numbing frustration.
I ask a lot of questions! Answers allow me to get you where YOU want to be, technically. Plus, it always devolves into VO business do’s and don’ts and helping you feel confident with doing as little as possible. The bottom line is it’s not the technology that gets you work. That’s up to being a good voice actor. Once you are set-up properly you’ll simply have to hit “record” or “join session.”
I’m not a techno-geek. I’m a working voice actor who’s been recording since the Nixon Administration. It’s not rocket science, but the landscape is filled with so-called “experts” who really do not understand the simplicity of recording voice tracks. Some want to send you down a technological rabbit hole, some who are very experienced but don’t consider that you haven’t spent a lifetime learning and understanding what they do, while others are simply amateurs. I know because I mop up after them daily.
